Hi - I am in your exact same situation! LOL, my period is due on the 12th and I tested negative this morning, too. I'm thinking that we're testing too early. Test again if you don't get your period when you expect it. I was reading the literature that came with the pregnancy tests (I used EPT, which can predict before a missed period) but when I read the percentages of pregnant women that got a positive test when they tested 4 days before their missed period, it was only 50%. 3 days before was like 70%, then by the day of your expected period it was 89%. So there is a good chance that you would get a negative result this early on.
The later you test, the more accurate the results.
Good luck!

I took my first test 5 days before I was supposed to get my period and it was negative. I got this test at the dollor store. And than I tried the first reponse the same day and it came out positive. Than I went to get a blood test and that was positive. Some pregnancy tests just can't pick up low levels of pregnancy hormones, even if they say that do. I'd go to a doctor and get a blood test, if you really want to be sure.

Are you trying to get pregnant? Was your intercourse unprotected? Many times prior to a period your body will have a lots of reactions to the hormones...some more severe, some not too bad, and some months worse than others.
First off, forget the HPTs. You are wasting your money and driving your mind insane. RELAX....wait and see. In all likelyhood you are not pregnant, but there is a chance. Usually when you are pregnant, you do not have any immediate signs because there are not enough hormones to change anything except in the blood.

Did you take an early response test (such as First Response), or a regular one? Since you haven't technically missed your period yet, I would either take a First Response, or wait 2 or 3 more days and take a regular one. The regular ones aren't always sensitive enough to pick up hormones earlier than your missed period. Good luck!

Find a digital pregnancy test or one that will allow you to test 5 days before your missed period. You may want to wait a couple of days before you test. Sounds like you've got some classic pregnancy symptoms. Good luck!

Often times womens hCG levels aren't a high enough level to detect until after a missed period. I would give it a few days and then retest. If you are concerned about the validity of the internet tests, you should get another brand to double check you.
Good luck to you

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't think you're pregnant. It is possible, but I think you're symptoms are caused by the fact that you want to be pregnant so badly. Just relax, if you stress about it you won't get pregnant. My bf tried for 2 years to get pregnant, right when she told me she was giving up, I KNEW she'd get pregnant. 3 months later she was pregnant. I also know a few people who adopted a child because they couldn't conceive, then got pregnant one they got a child because the pressure to conceive was gone.
You can take a test -- First Response -- it is accurate up to 5 days BEFORE your missed period (an it works!). You can also go to the Dr. for a blood test. I think you're about to get your period, so I'd just wait a few days if I were you.

Wait to see if your period does come. If not then take another test. If its still negative then go and see your Dr and have a blood test.
