I honestly can't remember the last time I sat by the fire. I only sit down to eat and at my pc.

Wonder how far the headless chickens run in a day? lol

hugs x

I have been napping. After all that Christmas shopping I did yesterday, I didn't have any energy left to be running around today--headless chicken style or not!!

But, I am about to go out to wear myself to the bone getting groceries...I am out of milk and bread and a few other staples, so will have to brave the cold and the messy roads to return with the goods in my trusty shopping cart!

Bit of both I suppose, got into a temper this morning she, the missus, went off to work early with out preparing breakfast for me and the lads( selfish cow I thought it was a bit much I must say) and I had to tell the youngest to do it instead, then the post was late with my Social cheque and I had a bit of a fracas with the postwomen( lazy cow! when will women learn their place) But had a bit of luck after lunch, had a win on the gee gees. Bit of extra beer over Xmas( sounds OK don't it) Then a few pints down the Crown home for Dinner(tea really) and then back down the Crown for a few more jars, and thus home to retire (bet a leg over is not on the cards though, pity that, she used to enjoy it so much)

I topped of my cleaning this morning while watching "Sunday Morning".....

Caught up with my things on Ebay.

Hid the Christmas presents so when my kids come over next week end, they won't see them...Challenge about that: my apartment is very small with limited storage.

Actually wrote a LETTER! Remember those? Pen to paper, fold, put in an envelope, address it, apply a stamp, lick to close??? I correspond with an old Nun...she's 92 now but was my friend when I was 16 and she was in her 40's...she also was a teacher at the school where I went. She has no computer where she is living. The retirement convent doesn't have one. She writes to me regularly, me not so regular...I'm ashamed to say....

Rest of the day I'm going to loaf - and do absolute nothing. Shove a small pork roast in the oven with a coupla potatoes....and that's it.

Running... no, not anymore... hobble maybe! Sitting comfy in my recliner getting a good chuckle out of our little network here! I have seen a headless chicken lay an egg you know! And, no fire... all the windows open with us in shorts! Go figure!

Not running around too much today, went to brunch and came home where it's warm, but this aft going to my daughter's surprise birthday party. Then home to stay! Maybe for days, depending on the storm. Was going out for my birthday, but I think I'll wait for the thaw!

Hi Rox! Oh it's been terrible. I finally drug myself out into the horrible 80 degree weather with a nice breeze that feels so nice. The dogs were so miserable as we walked. I had to wear shorts, Tshirt and sandles. It was just awful you all. Now I'm going to have to go sit in the sun and do crossword puzzels. Don't you feel sorry for me? Seriously....I feel for all of you freezing your keesters off. Believe me I paid my dues when I lived in Indiana snow drifts and freezing weather.

Don't 'run' anywhere these days! LOL...don't have a fire, sadly, 'cause I love them! But am home keeping warm instead!
