If Bush attacks Iran before he leaves office, expect the price of gasoline to soar: $6 - $8 per gallon.
If he doesn't attack Iran, the price will only go up to about $4 per gallon, which - by the way - is the price that most oil analysts suggest is the maximum that American motorists will tolerate before an outright revolt. -RKO- 12/09/07

Thank God I don't live in New York!!! The highest I've seen is $3.89. The good news is that oil prices had been dropping until today, but they're still down $8 a barrel from where they were last month, so gas prices should drop some.

I don't know. How much are they going to raise minimum wage? A wage meant for high school kids? Minimum wage was $5.25 when Bush went into office, what is it now? $7.25, no wonder prices are going up. Isn't that also a part of the reason?

Depends on how much OPEC wants to keep the cost of a barrel of crude. It's accounts for approximately 50% of the cost of gasoline.

To answer your question;
It will depend on if democrats actually try to full fill campaign promises made in pre 2006 elections.
“Democrats have a plan to lower gas prices, taking America in a new direction that works for everyone, not just the few.
Nancy Pelosi, (D-CA), Tuesday, April 18, 2006
“Democrats believe that we can do more for the American people who are struggling to deal with high gas prices and bracing for record high home heating bills this winter.
Steny Hoyer (D-MD), October 4, 2005
House Democrats have a plan to help curb rising gas prices.
Jim Clyburn (D-SC), July 26, 2006

I Highly Doubt that very Many AMERICANS will have the Opportunity to Buy gas, nor will They/We have Access to a Motor Vehicle, nor a Home, nor a Job, nor a Business, nor a LIFE... since MANY will be transported to One of the SIX HUNDRED (in U.S.) FEMA "Detention Camps" http://www.linkoregon.com/fema

You mean Bush isn't going to leave office with all Americans driving bio-diverse vehicles?
In reality, it will be the price that his political campaign contributing buddies in OPEC set. At this point, he has absolutely nothing to lose. He is a sitting duck president, who is going to ride out the last year of his presidency on a wave of cynicism.

Just another example of American ingenuity; put two oil men in The White House so that excess oil profit can 'trickle down' right on our heads. Estimates are four dollars per gallon by the summer.
