then when there happy i do not hear from them huh?? how do i tell them to stop with out being rude???

they bring me down.....just looking for people that are trying to enjoy life..p.s. do not understand because most of these people have more than me in life i think they are lucky

I totally understand what your saying...people talk to me too...
Like 'The Hanger' answered, you just might be a very good listener, and people normally start talking to someone who appears caring and listens.
So it's not necassarily a bad thing. As for as telling them that you really don't want to listen to them right now, I'd be honest. I would tell them at the moment, I can't really help because I have my own problems, but I'm more than willing to help another time.
If they get mad, it's probably gonna be a temporary thing...they are bound to understand, and if they don't it just tells you what kind of person they are ...

If they are coming to you, its because you listen. Simply give your "clientele" a direction. Here them out, and turn the concern into a question (reverse psychology) and watch them give you the answer to their own dilemma. Applaud them for finding their own answer. This will give them enough encouragement to find out themselves.

We are in the same boat I did that all my life I am 65 yrs But you know something its a mission who had been giving to us I did mine its up to you to do whatever with yours
