Thanks to oil King Abdullah can hold Britain to ransom.
Mugabe (uncle Bob!) what a man - rumoured to have killed the first leader of Zimbabwe - who is now haunting him. Uncle Bob fears the ghost but the only tribe that can help him he has terrorised so the Sangoma is not willing to help. Mass graves found in the South of Matabele dead 20 000 I think - though I could have underestimated. The dead were killed after the Rhodesian war. He called all Jews pigs (bad move coz they own the mines!) and don't even get going on the whites and homosexuals. Uncle Bob is probably worse than Idi Amin (not sure whether Uncle Bob has eaten his archbishop though). I'd rather be pals with the king than the man who would stab his own partner

There is an unspoken reason for it ... to do with Mugabe asking for compensation for the taking of land from the indigenous groups by white farmers.

I think I'm right in saying that Britain (as in the British people) does not cuddle up to these people at all, unfortunately we do have a government and a few money grabbers that do.
If anyone's got any ideas how we can get rid of them let us know.

because mugabe took a once great nation and turned it into a disgrace with massive inflation his OWN people starving and dieing for what seems to be his enjoyment and for removing white farmers who provided food and work for the people - regardless of land issues (the removal of who so far proven to be a bad idea!)
as for King Abdullah mmmmm £4bn worth of military hardware and £bn's of pounds worth of oil - excellent economic sense unfortunately!

Although, if Britain does condemn Mugabe, then why hasn't it acted yet?
