We have all seen how well a republican in the executive office works with democratic ran congress. I think it's a given, to say that it is unproductive and a waste of time. Many people are saying that they will under no sercumstances vote democrat due to the fact that they are "liers, unproductive, and foolish." So far since the dems have taken the congress they have pushed for several bills to help out everyday americans (with many being vetoed by our republican leader). What is your view of another republican in the white house? Will it be this unproductive due to the stubborness?

And do you think that this is an issue that a republican candidate will have to address and make strong points on?

I think there are dangers with any or all of the combinations.

Unfortunately, we are pressed into voting for the candidate and situation that we feel poses the least danger for the country, rather than the best hope.

Some of the candidates are downright dangerous. Do your research and really get to know the candidate who is your current favorite. Make sure you know who you are voting for.

We have a Republican president with a Democratic congress. How's that working for you? McCain for president would just be more of the same.

We need a Republican president, and to elect a Republican congress which is more conservative than the last one. The problem is that the last Republican congress spent like Democrats.

I can envision if President Reagan had had a Republican congress. This country would have come out of the 80s even greater than it actually did.

Sometimes it is better to get nothing done, then to spend endlessly on crap we don't need. I think we do need someone who is willing to veto all the bs that the democrats will try to pass. I would feel the same if congress was all republican, then we shouldn't have a republican president.

This is why I am not voting for Giuliani, since he is liberal, he will probably not have the balls to use the veto. That and he wants to start another cold war.

Traditionally the economy is strongest when the two are opposite, because little change is foreseen and people invest more freely with little regard to new taxes and regulations.

However, this doesn't seem to be the case now.

It's better to make no progress than to make negative progress and make moves toward socialism.

I don't think that liberals are evil or stupid they just have a completely different ideas on the role and scope of government.

I Have no intention of helping them.
