Lawrence Welk...but only because when I was in the 1st grade my mother made me a dress that was denim and had "Hee Haw" all over it and there were caricatures of Roy Clark and Minnie pearl and chickens, too.
It was humiliating.
Cissy and Bobby with a bunch of bubbles on a dress would have been awful, but not so much as Hee Haw.....

I would have to say Hee Haw. I loved the humor and of course the pretty girls weren't bad either!!! LOL. But I do miss Lawrence Welk and his bubbly music. Than reminds me, do I have some champagne hanging around somewhere? Peace!

Of course I liked the silliness of Hee-Haw ...... but a person could get a nice free ride on the Welk's bubbles ... One time on a particularly hardy bubble I made it half-way over the Long Island sound.

My family watched both as a kid... I prefer Hee Haw, but I have to tell you a secret that may shock you... aside from the musical guests, almost every show is the same! I have a DVD of a Hee Haw episode with Johnny Cash, and when I bought it, I was worried it wouldn't have bits that I remember enjoying... well, it had every single bit I remember enjoying... LMAO... hope I didn't offend any fans... wunnerful, wunnerful.
