yeah i do have case with a windows and whts dose it mean by dual channeling ?

That's Sarcasm by the the way! lol. Get the first one cos the second one will take up 2 slots on your motherboard and go the same speed. Gives you more options to upgrade in the future. If your running Vista however, Get 4GB cos Vista uses over 1GB when it's doing nothing.

They are BOTH DDR2 (PC2 is DDR2). They are both Exactly the same except for timings. Definately go for Corsair they are a the best brand out there. And because of reasons I've stated above.

Compare the two. Which one has the lowest latency time? Corsair makes ram for overclockers, I don't have much knowledge of Ballistic, yet! Read reviews on the net for these two sticks of ram, form an intelligent conclusion.

if your motherboard supports dual channel get the second one, but you really dont need the LED's. its just a light show, unless you have a pretty awesome looking case, it would be useless. but yes if your motherboard supports dual channeling get 1GB X2.

Oh, by all means get which ever one has the LED's, they really speed your rig up!
