She wants to stoke her enormous ego and see just how much she can influence America...especially America's women, in a political way, not just as a salesperson for books or whatever.
Again, its all about Ophra's huge ego and how far she can push something important as the #1 TV personality in the US.

Black power? MMMMMMMMMMM? could be.

Oprah touted her own ignorance when it came to politics. She stated she had voted for both Democrats and Republicans in her lifetime, but she has been only fired up by Obama.

In the end, it comes down to one fact: Oprah is as qualified as Obama when it comes to being president. So why doesn't it surprise me her main motivating factor to support Obama is his race?

At a time in our nation's history when experience is so crucial, we will elect someone who has been there, who understands the costs of freedom and the price we can honestly afford to pay. It's not a time for half-measures, untried men, or for "I think I can" politics. It's about who can step up to the plate and deliver a home-run, because we're at the bottom of the ninth inning, the bases are loaded, and time is running out!

Yes, and it's devious. She wants a qualified person of color to become President, for the enthusiasm it will create in Black America, and for all it will do for society generally... and because it's time... whether or not it happens.

Pretty underhanded, huh?
