This is to do with the fact that eating people is wrong. Do you bite the top off or do you throw the whole sweet in your mouth. This question is meant in the best possible taste.

I don't often eat jelly babies nowadays but when I do, I eat them as I have always done - bite the head off and eat that first, followed by the rest of the jelly baby!
And I always save the black ones for last, for some reason, and always have done.

After taking a good look at my jelly baby to test for freshness and quality I will bite the head off in one go. If the jelly baby is fresh and juicy I will then proceed to eat the rest. If the jelly baby is stale and dry I will not eat it!

i kinda bit the heads of em first, them throw the whole body inc legs in after, i love the black ones best and get a real treat biting there heads off ha ha

but I do eat the same coloured ones first before going onto the next colour.
ie; all the greens then the reds
