i would teach in either middle, or high school.

I am a teacher and have taught kids from 5 to 19, each age has advantages and disadvantages, though my favourite year is year 8 (U.K system, 12 going on 13) because the kids have developed a degree of independence, confidence and initiative, but have not yet turned into psychotic year 9's (which I absolutely hate teaching)

The answer is relevant to ones experience and to ones "needs" given ones time in life. But perhaps you were taking a survey of how many on answers were likely to compete with you for the level you are interested in?
For me it would be college, because what I desire to teach takes a base of experience that is found in college students more than high school.

I have done all grade levels, including adult living skills 18-21. I prefer older students. I have fun with older students too, I was the senior class adviser for 4 years....that was too much fun for me! To me, and this will sound bad, I don't like the babysitter factor that plays into elementary age. When the bell rings, c-ya!
I would also do community college.

I"m a retired teacher and I loved High School as well as Middle School. My wife is a retired 1st grade teacher and loved it despite the mountainous volume of preparation.

I might try all 4 parttime to see if I can integrate teaching concepts.
When you try and take a course through the various layers you see how this works and that doesn't and where the chips fall.

I have taught part time in middle school, high school and college. Middle and high was a real waste of time. College was quite fulfilling.

middle. elementary will take forever to kool all the kids and high and collage teaching is 2 hard

I taught high school and hated it. I teach college and couldn't be happier.

high school or college. that way i know the kids are somewhat competent and i wouldnt really have to always watch what i say. plus, i hate kids.
