I often wonder if events such as we see in films like Armagedon and Independance day really happen and the government keep it hidden from us, maybe the end of the world has been upon us many times and been saved by unsung hero's. What do you think?

I always think that situations in movies somehow someway have a little bit of truth in it. Either because it has already happened or because there's some kind of certainty that *could* happen. But, please, for your own peace of mind, don't fix your mind in it, much less worry about it. What's going to happen, will happen, lets hope for the best.

Hell yes, there are all sorts of things hidden from the general public. I don't know about "the end of the world". But I do know that plenty of dirty deals are done in dark rooms which we will never hear about. Perpetrators commit all sorts of unspeakable acts with of course a "good " purpose in mind. And then lie and kill to hide their actions. For me, an unsung hero is anyone who tries to build up in the name of government, religion or whatever...rather than destroy. We need lots more of these folks, don't we?

I don't think so.

However, there are everyday events that are either not reported or the reports are skewed to prevent the public from knowing the truth. Such is the case with P. Bush. There is a lot of dis-information about what he has been doing.

The truth is out there, but hard to find. I listien to NPR (National Public Radio), and wish more would.

Who knows? The government could keep millions of things secret. Many things could happen, and the media or the people would have no idea what happened. It all depends on whether or not you trust the government.

Most of society is too wrapped up into themselves so even if they did hear the truth they would either not believe it or ignore it. So yes. I'm sure there are plenty of ops going on but as long as we can hear the latest about Brittany & Paris - who cares?
