Aren't those equestrian types great? They are much nicer than the oil field workers who might say "I wouldn't mind doping that box" or the carpenter looking for his dream of "flat as a board and easy to nail", or the welder who would "like to melt his rod on that", or... there is no end to the perversion in the male mind.

I learned long ago, never to use the same words about a woman I liked which one might use to describe a horse. It just does not pay the same dividends, and in fact can be detrimental to my own health... lol...

Having read the context it was used I say it is a wonderful compliment, an admiration your "spirited" answer.
His question and your answer were brilliant.

I once asked a girlfriend, after a nice, long kiss and hug, if all of her emraces were "this warm". Hey, cheesy line, but we stuck together for a long time.

Spirited, yes. It was just really weird. I've gotten many compliments, but spirited I was just kind of like "Wait, what?"
