No it is not true nor is it is a sin, you are just dating a regular guy who, through an accident of birth, was born into the wrong body - just as it is not a sin to date someone who has a birth defect - you wont go to hell for that either. I think your friend needs to be educated about transsexuals/transgenders and the GLBTQ community.

That is a good question, first and for most your friend isn't god, secondly Transsexuality isn't specifically meantioned in the bible. I Personally think you shouldn't worry about it too much because just about everything you do is a sin, and as I remember from the bible, there is no sin worser than another. If you are really in love with him, I truly beleive god will understand. Asking is it a sin to date an transsexual (in your case a mentally/spiritually male in a female's body) is like asking is it a sin to date someone who was born with both sex organs (hermaphrodite). Only god knows.

No. Your TS buddy has a beginning illness. Your different buddy inspite of the undeniable fact that, would not sound like somebody you may desire to be around by way of their lies and hatred in direction of those with this beginning illness. The Bible in elementary terms condemns sexual sins, no longer genuine-transsexualism. there is a lot extra approximately homosexuality interior the Bible than transsexualism. genuine-transsexualism isn't a existence form, determination, or sin. it is not a sin to get maximum cancers surgery is it?

Dating a transsexual is not a sin. Love is love no matter what. Plus if your friend was so worried about who's going to "Hell" she shouldn't be judging you, now should she?

If your friend thinks this is a sin, then your friend should not date a transsexual. However, you have to make up your own mind about who you love and choose to be with. And, I believe that loving someone is never sinful.

Its not a sin. Whats wrong with being in love with another human being?

Don't worry what other people say or think. The only thing that matters is what your heart tells you!!

You're a lovely caring person .... and even if there is such a place as "hell" in whatever afterlife we have .... its reserved for the mean spirited people who would want to break up your loving relationship !

God made us all what we are, straight, gay, ts .... not as a "test" saying we had conform to some silly misinterpretation of the bible .... but so that we could enjoy and fulfill ourselves just how we are ....

I'm not religious but I kind of believe in a sort of God, and its not a God who would eternally damn anyone .... even the bigots.

With the single exception of the Judea-Christian-Islamic (all from the same basic source) type of religious thought, throughout most of human history and in almost all cultures around the world, being transsexual was considered to be holy, sacred and a religious leader. Sin? hardly. Even the OT actually says that it is an elevated place......Isaiah 56 4-7 when you know the word eunuch as translated refers to those transsexual priestesses. Even Jesus weighed in on this in the verses just before those widely used in marriage ceremonies..."For there are those who are born eunuchs, those that are made so and those who become eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom, let them who can receive it, receive it (from memory, might not be word for word but accurate in spirit)

Christian bigots who wail about transsexuality as sin are actually going directly against one of the teachings of Jesus himself.

No you won't go to hell. There is nothing wrong with loving someone. It is a far worse sin for small minded people to judge others than for you to love another human being.
