Not driven through but I saw a guy walking along a road who disappeared down what looked like a shallow puddle! It was hilarious!! He was fine in the end he cracked his chin on the
edge of what turned out to be a manhole! It could have been anyone as it really did look like a shallow little puddle you'd walk through!!

During the April Fools Day flood of '86 the main street of the town I lived in then was suddenly under six feet of water. At first I thought it was not going to be too deep, and by the time I realized what was happening, my car had stalled. Since I am only 5'5" I had to get out of there fast!

not a puddle but a little river under a bridge which you had to drive through to get to a camp site it had been raining hard the water came above the tyres frightened the life out of me the camp site owner said he normally checked it after heavy rain fall and puts a notice up to take the alternate route but he hadn't done it that morning ....:)

I love to splash through puddles when driving because it's fun and it looks cool, but I don't do that when there are people around because I don't want to ruin their day by splashing them with icky cold water.

Yeah.
Either I hydroplane a few feet or I find out it's a HUGE pothole and I'm worried I broke something for the next half hour.

Yep. on a country lane and then my car stopped about five minutes later. Was dark and thank god a lovely man stopped and had a look. My spark plugs had gotten wet he said. He fixed it for me. I was so grateful to him.
