you can observe white fumes coming out from the upper part inside the cockpit, but they are absolutely dry.

They do not use dry ice, solid CO2, to cool the cockpit because they need to know and maintain the composition of the breathing atmosphere. It may be absolutely dry, but adding CO2 gas would seriously effect the composition of the air in the cockpit.

I know, they don't. Commercial airplanes use air conditioners. In a jet they are powered by bleed air from a jet engine's compressor. Dry ice would be a very bad idea, as when it sublimates, it turns to gaseous Carbon Dioxide, which is poisonous. It can burn the skin (frostbite), and it doesn't last. You might as well use a giant ice cube, it would be safer.

I do not know but I would bet that people who breathe oxygen would not want to be closed up with dry ice that is giving off carbon dioxide and displacing their oxygen..

absolutely not..are you nuts???
Why would you supply oxygen and pressurize an aircraft with air while dumping CO2 into it.
This is the sillyest thing I've ever heard. Is someone pulling your leg?

I suspect that they air condition. Cheaper and safer.
