No... He is religious and thats what he is... What is so wrong with being religious and basing your opinion with Humanity and not hate? It says something about his character and thats it. His decisions would be based on fact with a touch of understanding and Humanity is all. We would not be ruled by the bible, just ruled by a man who takes the people into consideration.

He has one card and one card only. If he wasn't busy saying "Jesus" five times in every sentence he would have to speak about issues....and those same people who like him on his "use of words" and "sincerity" (which is nothing more than his saying "Jesus" as discussed above) would not care for him on those issues at all.
There is absolutely no question that this man would never have more than 2 or 3% support if it wasn't for that fact.
Huckabee is for amnesty, no different than Bush or McCain (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjSQpNZYu1E )...but all they hear is the word Jesus. Its beyond sad that such seems to be working for him. I am a Christian and support Christian values, but foolishness isn't one of those values.

I lived in Arizona fro nearly 20 years, and loved, then Evan Mecahm, was elected Governor, by a landslide, and he too played the "religion card"! You didn't dare speak unfavorablby about him in some "relgioniuos strong towns", with out it ending in extreme debate! He broke the state finacially, and embarressed the reputation of it!! Made racial slurs about minorities constantly, was nearly impeached a couple of times, he used the same "religion card" as Huck is using!

Heavily, because it's the only card he has.
Maybe Americans should be electing a Head Preacher instead of a President. We should change the name of the office to the Holy Oval Office and we could call the President the First Mullah.

Yes, he is playing to the hilt. He has relegated Mitt Romney in Iowa on the basis of the religion card only.

He is just responding to all the questions asked of him by reporters. Like the YouTube debate...the questions were mostly ask about their positions on religion. Most of the candidates wanted to get more questions on other issues, but CNN picked those questions.
