dunking is not just about the jump for example can you Palm a basketball?
If you can then can you catch it with your palm when you bouce the ball you should be able to do that in order to dunk , other wise you will find it tough to get the ball over the rim. In order to dunk you should be able to put your whole hand over the rim. that should help you my work here is done. OUT

im 5-10 or 5-11, and i could dunk at a normal NBA rim. Back then, when i couldn't i put power-weights on my legs (2kg minimum - 4kg maximum, until later on) and i picked up a public game with random people. it gets tiring, but ur legs are gaining stamina as you keep playing. and then later on, wen u take them off, u feel lighter and recieve more hops. so if u dont want a pick-up game, u should do jump-ropes. thats a great stamina build.

Everyone is different, you could get there in a week, a month, or never. Just keep working at it and give yourself a chance to reach your goal. It would help if you had big hands and can "palm" the ball going up.

I just recently found a basketball web based MM0 game where you create a player and control his career.

Its pretty fun, check it out.
