Love poutine... Correction on the recipe above... The cheese isn't mozzarella, it's cheddar curds.

I love poutine.

For you Americans,poutine is fries with gravy and melted mozzarella cheese on top.

Reading Candi Apple's description, it sounds like a brunch made in heaven. Good with beer, that's a plus on a Sunday. I had a roomie in Pittsburg who ate fries with gravy, I had never heard of it but it was good.

lol....when i first saw this q....i thought poutine was slang for, well, YOU know....lol....but after eading Candy apples descript of what it is...YUMMY.......never had it, but sounds good...cheese fries i have had, gravy fries I have had, so the two combined should be yummy, not as good as wish tho....;-)

Love it, so does my hubs, however, in the US we call it Fries with cheese and gravy, LOL...pretty much self explanitory!
