I don't think small feet is the worst affiliation in the world. Be thankful he is healthy and that you only have his feet to worry about...

Baby Small Feet

Sometimes they will have a growth spurt later and their feet will get bigger. My daughter had very small feet when she was an infant, and then around 15 or 16 months until 18 months she blew through 2 or 3 sizes and her feet got huge! Now she is almost 6, is tall for her age, and her feet are average for her height. I wouldn't worry about it now. They will probably catch up later.

Baby parts come in all different sizes and grow at different rates. My daughter had *huge* feet as an infant. The rest of her body finally caught up, and her feet are just about average for her age now. Don't worry so much about it, and even if he does have small feet as an adult, so what?

My friends daughter is 7 months and still wears a size one. She went to buy her shoes and the guy told her the shoes she wanted was for a 6 week old! So shes got some small feet too lol. I wouldnt worry about it if the doctor thinks its fine.

My cousin had such small feet she could barely walk when she was a year old.

She is perfectly normal now and a size 2 for an eight month old is not that unusual. My daughter is eleven months old and that is the size that she would wear if her feet were not so fat on top!

Who cares? Do you want your child to be average in every way? You need to focus on the positives in your life, you have a wonderful baby boy.

ETA: All babies start with small feet, and most then grow to average.

They will likely catch up with the rest of him at some point. He may turn out not to be very tall so his foot size will be proportionate to his height.
