At the end of the year the AP or Associated Press vote for the National Champ. The coaches also vote in a seperate vote for The National Champ. If they come up with two different results, then The Championship is shared. It is all part of the bullcrap process in the only sport in the world that has no true national champion.

Basically, it means in the 2 polls (AP and Coaches), there are 2 different #1 teams (for instance, it could be Ohio State in one poll, and LSU in another).

The BCS was ment to try and prevent this from happening, but 2002 or 2003 (forget off the top of my head) proved otherwise (when LSU was #1 in one poll, and USC #1 in a different poll).

It means that the coaches poll had one team finish #1, and the AP had a diffent team finish #1...

It means crap.BCS is CRAP...The Bowls this year are a JOKE. The BCS or FOC (full of crap) knows who they want before the season starts. They had a whole crew of refs doing a game that they shouldnt of .That was being investigated and cost one team 4.5 million.
The BCS is .......crap....

Doesn't mean anything except wishful thinking. You can't share the national title anymore!
