If I had the time to look for a photo i would not be asking the question here. It's not as if I could post it on here anyway. How you ever become top contributor with suggestions like that is beyond me!!

Zeolite? There are numerous varieties of Zeolite; I think Geomatic's "Okenite" is but one variety...

Other possible contenders are certain varieties of Asbestos (which are fibrous, although I'm not sure about fluffy"). Also, in miocroscopic form, Illite, which can appear as fibrous or "hairy".
