I think Tim Tebow is a great college player, but he is a underclassman, and will have the oppurtunity next year. But Darren McFadden has had two great seasons, and has done everything that he could to help his team win. He had great a year, but was at his best during the upset win over then #1 LSU. I really think he got shafted yesterday, but I know his reward will come in the NFL, because he will be the number 1 pick.

McFadden is a STUD plain and simple!

That being said nobody has EVER down what Tebow did 29 Pass Td's is great and 20+ Rushing Td's is amazing but we are talking about 1 guy in one season! Sorry McFadden you had a great season but Tebow had a season for the ages, the numbers speak for themselves!

As for the Draft I'm hoping the Dolphins pass on him because they have Ronnie Brown and address another need, nobody thought they'd take Ginn last year! If they do take another player wouldn't McFadden look wonderful in the NE backfield?

I would say on performance, they chose the right man. Right now there are people saying that McFadden was left out. However you would be saying the same thing about Tebow if he came in second. Honestly I would have been ok if they gave it to McFadden because he's a senior and deserves it. Unfortunately...He just happened to get powned by Tebow at his last shot. Oh well...I'm sure he'll really be crying once the draft comes around...Oh wait.

The Heisman Memorial Trophy is awarded "to the most outstanding player". I agree that McFadden was phenomenal, but last year doesn't count. Also, being a sophomore equates to nothing. He will have the opportunity to win it again next year, but why hold that against him this year? McFadden should be the #1 pick in the draft, but that too has nothing to do with the Heisman. Just ask Reggie Bush, and Mario Williams. The Heisman Trust was right in awarding the trophy to Tebow. Go Gators!

McFadden has had a great college career and he might have the best NFL career, but this award is about the best player this season. McFadden just fell short and that is all there is to it. Of the guys that were nominated the right guy won. I believe the best player wasn't even nominated in Kevin Smith.

Obviously the voters did their job by chosing the best player.

Doesn't matter if you're a senior or a frosh.

McFadden is great but it all comes down to the votes.

Swallow it and like it!
