Its invigorating just like it is to you to make stupid comments about Libs. You know what I mean. I don't hate the USA. I love it and I am extremely concerned about it like I never have been before in my 60 years of life.
My worries go beyond temporary economic tendencies, temporary immigration worries, and even the war. I worry for Her very existence as the great country I grew up in. I worry for Her structure as was set forth in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. I worry about Her very sovereignty. This is the first time I have ever even considered those things as being at risk.
Look up some of the Supreme Court decisions, bills passed, new practices by our government officials, and you would probably share my concerns. But, you won't because you are stuck in a partisan maze of divisiveness instead of keeping your eye on the prize.

People who interpret America's need for change as an indictment of everything America stands for. I hate that, because it's bogus.
People can recognize and acknowledge problems without that recognition turning into hatred. We do it in marriage, relationships, in the workplace, at school... we are always in the process of identifying problems and fixing them...without hating the thing we're trying to fix or make better.
It's no different with the country we live in.
What's "awful" is that there are so many people who are so insecure that they can't muster the maturity necessary to make the country better. Instead... they make the mere suggestion that something needs changing into an indictment of themselves.
It's pathetic...

Not at all. To say that there isn't any problems is wrong and ignorant. The first step to solving a problem is to recognize it. If we didn't like the US, most of us wouldn't bother and would move.
Criticism can either be destructive or constructive. For me and my fellow liberals, I prefer constructive.
What I don't like is the attitude of this question. Get some self respect and don't post such nonsense.

Does it make the toddler Jesus snicker or cry once you paintings so stressful to alienate people who you will possibly declare want Jesus the main?the affection of Jesus flows from you like sewage. Your Christian "testimony" says each little thing i ought to understand approximately you.

If you think that everything in this country is perfect and nothing needs to be fixed then, frankly, you're an idiot. The hostile, knee jerk, thoughtless partisanship you displayed is one of the biggest problems.

'Libs' don't have a 'perceived awfulness' (is that a word??) about the U.S. However, anyone that doesn't recognize the serious flaws and problems facing this nation is either mentally deficient or just plain ignorant.
All those ostrich-types sticking their heads in the sand refuse to acknowledge that anything might be wrong with the U.S.A. That's buffoonery. Here's my list of things I hate about the U.S.A.:
1. A corrupt political monopoly exacerbated by propagandists who coerce Americans into attaching fake labels to themselves. By maintaining their stranglehold on our politically system, "Republicrats" restrict voters' choice, and keep us from implementing any significant changes to the way we elect candidates or improve government. This is assisted by the political Pabulum spoon-fed to us over our public airwaves by Al Franken, Rush Limbaugh and others who continue to spread hatred, bias, prejudice and bigotry that only further divides this nation instead of trying to unify its people - all of whom come from different cultures, hold to different political views, worship different gods, and have different skin colors.
2. I absolutely hate a corrupt government that lied to its Congress, hoodwinked its people and conned its troops into believing there was honorable purpose in attacking a sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States, just so a handful of wealthy elitists, industrialists, oil barons and power brokers could become wealthier and more powerful.
3. I hate the fact that we have deserted the one principle our forefathers held dearest: our right to express ourselves, offer opposing viewpoints, argue constructively over political dogma, and agree to disagree. Instead, we have turned into a nation of sniveling children resorting to name-calling, juvenile insults, and inarticulate accusation as a means of destroying those with whom we disagree politically, religiously or culturally.
4. I hate how we have ignored a responsibilities as stewards of this planet over which we were given dominion, just so that we can enjoy creature comforts, live in $400,000 homes, drive gas-guzzling Hummers and SUVs, and destroy the very environment so necessary to our the survival of our descendants.
5. I hate that arrogance, sloth, ignorance, selfishness, avarice, and hubris has set in and turned this country into a nation of money-grubbing war mongers intent on spewing hatred and evil among our next door neighbors and among our fellow inhabitants of this world.
6. I hate that we have embraced an amoral society that thrives on sensationalism; relishes murder and mayhem; laughs at 'shock jocks' and 'rappers' who advocate rape, assault, murder and violence, especially against women.
7. I hate how we have forgotten our roots and rejected the Constitution, replacing such sacred beliefs with our own hedonistic social mores more conveniently suited to our decadent lifestyles of privilege, greed, illicit sex and human vulgarity.
8. I hate how our justice system has turned into a prostitute that allows murderers and rapists to go free if they have enough money.
9. I hate how our nation ignores the millions of citizens who are sick, disadvantaged, underprivileged, disabled, elderly, poor, under-educated, unemployed, hungry and homeless, yet lustfully gorges itself on corporate welfare, Social Security payments to wealthy retirees, and total waste and fraud run wild within our society and our government.
10. I hate how we represent only 5% of the world's population, yet squander 55% of the world's resources just to we can live comfortable lives of privilege without any regard as to how much of the rest of the world lives in abject poverty. -RKO- 12/09/07
