All of the people that say the PS3 sucks are just people that can't afford one, and they don't cost a lot of money, so don't listen to the haters. And anyone that says that the only PS3 game worth getting is Metal Gear Solid 4 is just a fanboy. The PS3 has a bunch of other games out and more coming.

Yes you should really get the PS3, some of the PS3's biggest games are coming out next year. In terms of gaming the PS3 is going to dominate in 2008 without a doubt. The only Xbox 360 exclusive games that I know of in 2008 is Halo Wars and maybe Gears of War 2 and that's it. The PS3 has a ton of more exclusive games.

And when Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out, people will be buying PS3's like there's no tommorrow. That game is going to be better than any Halo game and you wont beat MGS 4 in 4-5 hours like Halo 3, so the game will actually be worth the money. The PS3's have a very low failure rate and there are a bunch of big PS3 titles on the way. I say get the PS3.

Saying you have a 360 makes it easier to give you an answer, No, and I'll explain why a PS3 is good and bad to get, when they made the PS3 they made the hardware(chips and stuff) so powerful that it is hard for game makers to create games for them, and so there is hardly any PS3 games, and there never really will be a lot, as for the 360, anyone even me and you can download from microsoft the free kit and make a game, probably with trouble, but it's a lot easy and so there will be a lot of games and be high quality, both PS3 and 360 are fully HD, this means they can handle the max resolution of high definition, its like 1980x1280 or something really high like that, the PS3 had a blu-ray drive, Sony added it just to make blu-ray a lot more popular than HD-DVD, but I also see HD-DVD a lot more popular than blu-ray currently and I think HD-DVD will win the HD war, so overall there isn't much reason to get PS3, also there is going to be a HD-DVD attatchment for the 360 soon, just to be against sony, almost all good games are released on 360, then PC, some good games on PS2 still.... and hardly any on PS3 and it will likely stay that way, it's a good console, and good gaphics, good gameplay, hardly any games.. and there is hardly any blu-ray movies, a big waste of money

That depends on the games. Read about the games on the PS3 that are coming out, or currently out. I have the Wii and want a 360. I'd consider the PS3 but there is a low amount of games that capture my interest at the moment.

If you want the games that are on it then get one. There are some great games like Resistance, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword. And next year it's getting Haze, MGS4, Killzone 2, Final Fantasy XIII, LittleBigPlanet and Gran Turismo 5. Also GTA IV will be on one blu-ray disc for the PS3 whereas the it is likely to be on multiple discs for the 360. It's also a very good blu-ray player and it has a lot more built in to it than the 360, like wi-fi.

It really does depend what you want from a games console. The PS3 hasd far superior graphics and also adds the bit of a blue ray DVD player that i perosanlly like. If graphics aren't that important to you at all i'd stick with the 360 as the gameplays as good if not better than the ps3.

Sold mine to replace it with a 360. Why? Better game selection. The PS3 will be a worthwhile but only if they launch more exclusive games for it.

i would spend the £400 on games for your xbox instead, or on super duper components for your pc. the £400 comes from

1) bluray disc draw that is 100% officially pointless because it allows games to be 'bigger'

2) a little tiny chip that, until they decided to bring out PS3's with em in you could get for bout £15 instead of the added £100. the tiny chip allows you to play PS2 games. now, i dont know bout you, but i got the PS2 the year it came out (01 i think, cant remember exactly) and its still running good. little slower than when we first got it, but plays games and dvds faultlessly, so unless you have been throwing yours round or never got one, this is pointless

go for it ...have the money...sure...but i would wait maybe... you see... ps3 isnt really there yet ...it has the most potential really but not there yet...there will be GREAT titles coming for playstation... but right now... its still too much $ $ $ and not enough good games....(i said good not great...)..

just wait for better games and a lower price...no rush to have it...
