Usually celebrity endorsements do not matter so much in other countries, but American women are so much addicted to Winfrey Oprah's it is difficult to predict.Generally IQ of American women seems to be poor when it comes to politics . If they are really so much concerned for their role, they should have been with Hillary Clinton.
While on the context if Oprah herself is a candidate, surely she would have got elected hands down. Transferring the votes on her endorsement to some one else is a difficult thing. The picture gets further vitiated when she is endorsing another of her own race.

an thrilling element with regards to the 2008 Democrat primaries is that Obama have been given extra delegates (fifty 4% to 40 six%) and Hillary have been given the main commonplace votes (40 seven.ninety 8% to 40 seven.40 3%). That appeared slightly unusual. As for Oprah Winfrey, i'm getting the belief from the object you have offered that endorsing Obama now sounds like a legal accountability to Oprah (between different human beings).

I don't think people should vote for Obama because of Oprah, but what Oprah does is help people to open their minds and listen to Obama where they might not ordinarily do so. My experience thus far in this election cycle has been that the vast majority of Hillary Clinton's supporters don't have any issues-based reason for doing so. In fact, when pressed, they're pretty defiant about stating that "because we need a woman" or "because I liked Bill" are sufficient reasons for electing her.
Having Oprah's endorsement might actually open some of these minds to the idea that people they trust see things differently and get them to actually intelligently evaluate who should lead us, to the extent that they're able to do so.
In short, no, you shouldn't vote for Obama because Oprah likes him. You should vote for him because he's a strong leader with sound judgment and a vision for a better, stronger America.

First of all, I dont listen to any one person, be it a celebrity or a news source or whatever. I do a little research into each candidate.
However, alot of people trust Oprah's judgement and figure,"If Oprah likes him, maybe I should too."

Don't worry, Opah is Queenie of her own little world, and says she always knew she was destined for greatest. COME ON she's nothing more than another talk show host. She is a rich socialite with nothing better to do than push her own private agenda. Barrak Hussein Obama is pushing open borders, he is un patriotic toward the USA.

People actually believe that she would not be on TV unless she was speaking the whole truth.
It is a fact, though, that if you have the amount of money she has, you can and do influence things. Even though McCain/Feingold was supposed to stop that, it in fact made it worse.

Nobody actually would, but the fact that there's a star endorsement lends a slightly more positive image.

I think everyone usese too much emotion and not enough logic when selecting their candidate. We worship people on TV and if they tell us something is good, it must be. Yuck.
Think I'll vote for Huckabee cause Chuck Norris says he's good, ha.

Because some people are just to stupid to research the candidates and follow what their favorite TV personalities do. It's pretty sad.
