I know some people who use it to store their dogs food in.. They buy the huge bag sometimes more than one.. so they say this is really good to use.. They do use the big plastic one though because using a metal one could contaminate the food if condensation was to occur.

i worked in a bbq resturant once and we used white ones to make tea in and we used gray ones to put the bbq sause in. that was all they were used for from the time they were new.
