What is "insider language" when used in english papers?

I'm writing an english paper and it says to use insider language.. I probably should have went to class.

Normally, the term would refer to language shared by a particular group, but not by those outside the group. For example, every profession has "trade jargon" that they use which those outside the group don't fully understand. Or a gang may have certain slang that they use which may mean something different to them than the same words would mean to someone else.
