The quick easy way is make it a .zip folder.
Right clk your data and point to: Send To.
Then choose Compressed (zip) folder. You can put a password on it and you can add files later ( if you know the password ) Without the password the folder cannot be accessed.

hai! yes you can!! but never keep your important information in My Documents, think if your system files corrupted or virus affected in C-drive then there will be chances for loss of data, so never keep your data in My Documents, just select another drive except system drive, if you search in goolge you will find no.of folder lock softwares so just download them and use them as you wish, if you dont want to download softwares then create a user and login from administrator account and give security permissions for your particular important folder....All the best.

Try right-clicking on it, and select properties. There should be an option to make the file password protected. NOTE!!- Just because you put a password on it doesnt make it 100% secure, if they have enough computer knowledge they will be able to view the files anyway.

You need special software to do that. Look up "File encryption for Windows", and you should get some sort of answer. On Macs, however, we can make disc images (.dmg files) using the DiskUtility with encryption any time. Happy Hunting!

Department store. Well, it really depends on what department store it is. Furniture stores are just so boring. Oh wait! But then again, me and my lover can make out all over the furniture in the furniture store. So okay, I would prefer to be locked in a furniture store :)
