I'm middle class. You know, in that 40k-60k barely insured, working poor income range. I bought 20 acres of rural land down in Missouri and abandoned the city cesspool. I love my new life. I hunted and killed two deer this year. They are now in my freezer. I have substituted venison for beef for the whole year. Why would you gun control fanatics take away my ability to do this? The nearest police station is an hour away. They can't protect me from criminals. Why would you take that right away as well? I just don't get it. If you want to ban guns on city streets, fine. I avoid cities like the plague. (been there, done that, hated it) But why should your rules and morals apply to me?

It would seem that all of those who wish to eliminate your right to own a firearm, for whatever purpose, are those who can afford to hire someone to carry a firearm, and protect them. Both Hillary and Obama have Secret Service protection, most of these movie actors, have bodyguards. They are not being jeopardized, or being put in fear of their lives. I don't agree with your premise of taking the guns from the big cities, as I carry for my protection legally, and I also hunt, plus as a police officer, I carry for the protection of the citizen, who might be in my view at any time. By the way, it might be of interest to you to know, that the Supreme Court says that a police officer has no duty to protect you. This leaves it all on you.

Because liberal worry themselves sick over what happens to criminals, and about the "rights" of criminals. So, if a criminal were to break into your home with the intention of killing you or your family, they would be devastated to hear that the criminal was shot and killed. What they planned to do to you is irrelevant to them. All they know is some "poor, misunderstood" criminal was killed.
They also do not have the brains to comprehend that even if ALL guns were made illegal, the criminals would still have them, because they do not care about the law.

Because they're crazed liberals who have been brainwashed and don't understand things. Nevertheless, this is not the best time to bring it up.
And even though you have hunted for food and provided for yourself, gun rights are not merely about hunting. It goes deeper than that, and there's more to it.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
If someone wants to kill someone, with or without a gun---they are going to do it.
Why not ban baseball bats?
Why not ban knives?
Why not ban cars, planes, trains, and what not?
I carry a gun to protect myself from those who steel their guns for criminal intent.
The people with gun registrations and permits are not the criminals. It's those who steel their weapons and don't have permits or registrations that you need to fear.

another group of fanatics that cant find anything else to do with their lives except to antagonize other people. basically cowards at heart they would be the first to run for the hills if we were ever attacked. you can really start to worry if Obama gets elected.

because everyday on the news I see a random shooting and killing by a human being. The world doesnt need to be this violent. I support them ONLY for protection, not hunting, not anything else.
