i want to take my sister out and she lives 1 hr east of here, and there is a lake 15 min. from her town, and i want to take her fishing(the weather is 55 F there) OR should i pick her up and go back west to the beach, which would be a 4hr drive to get there and fish off the pier in Pismo Beach, CA(weather is 65 F there). BTW IS THIS GOOD FISHING WEATHER??

I would go to Pisco Beach, CA, because it is warmer, and fish sometimes like that. Over all though I would go to the other place I believe more fish would come there. I fish a lot, and I almost always go to the colder place. Have fun wherever you go!

When I go fishing in the winter, I never come home empty handed--I always catch a cold. :)
I'd go to Pismo. Clams spawn there and so fish hang out there. Also, if you don't manage to catch your dinner, there's plenty of places to eat. there will be off-road guys there too. Maybe you could catch a fun ride across the dunes.
