Yes i noticed today watching the repeat at 3.30pm that The Sherriff of Nottingham is wearing black satin pyjamas. I think it's a slight modern take of the Robin Hood legend for a more PC world.
But in both seasons you are right thay are wearing slight modern dress but that's not a bad thing is it not.

I know but it is a more modern version of Robin Hood so things are going to be more modern. It is TV. It's not meant to be accurate. It's still a great series though.

Never mind the outfits, have you noticed what a babe Anjali Jay is?
Especially in the episode where she wore a dress, instead of those trousers she normally wears. She plays the part of Djaq.

I like to watch it, but I have to admit I can't take my eyes off Richard Armitage as Sir Guy, in all that black leather although sometimes I feel he should be riding off on a Harley rather than a horse.

Nope. He was in love with Friar Tuck, and, when she found out, she threw herself off the White Cliffs of Dover, even though it took her a week to get there... . .

I know - funny isn't it? I think they would say they did not advertise the show as period drama so therefore they don't have to be anywhere near historically accurate!
