ALL of the serious analyses done by disinterested researchers have concluded that Fox News for the most part presents, at best, a heavily biased and distorted version of current events, and very often outright fabrications and misinformation.

Why are so many presumably intelligent people decieved?

Funny that you don't name any of these serious analysts in your question. I feel just the opposite. I watch all three of the major 24 hour news outlets and find Fox News Channel to be the most as they say "fair and balanced" on actual news coverage. CNN is second, with MSNBC coming in a distant third. If you want to talk about distortion and bias watch MSNBC news after about 10:00 am EST and see what you get. By the way I am an intelligent, free thinker and I am a Libertarian. I support neither major political party in this country. Fox News just has a better product PERIOD!!!!

Perhaps because the presumably intelligent people devoted to watching Fox are every bit as "fair and balanced" as those who labor in the Fox vineyards. To be fair we ALL opt for what seems to confirm our own biases. Whatever they may be. I do notice that the FOX newsroom has gotten much more sexed up of late. Keeping up with the times, of course.

What "serious analyses done by disinterested researchers'? I'm glad you've learned something from watching Fox news by making up your own sources. If you're going to make a statement like that, state your sources.

Your first mistake was in presuming intelligent people believe the reporting on Faux news is accurate.

To me that is an obvious oxymoron.

How come Liberals can't accept the truth? Why do they constantly attack Fox News when they have the 4-1 advantage?(CBS,CNN,ABC,MSNBC) Why do People like Olberman have there whole show devoted to attacking Bill and Fox news? The media is so Liberal Fox news is the only one that really gives a conservative view point.

I think many of their viewers realize this. They are just lashing out at what they see as liberal media bias elsewhere. They say, "Fox is all we have. You have CBS, NBC, ABC, New York Times, etc".
