would you go there for treatment? Is it trustworthy?

It is a good hospital, and has residents from nearby Rush, which is superb - but it does take care of the poor, and as a result is a bit busy and overwhelmed. If you have trauma - such as a gunshot wound - there's no better place in the city. If you have no funding at all, it's certainly fine. But if you have insurance, and your issue is more routine, I would go elsewhere.

Loyola University In Melrose Park, Christ Hospital In Oak Lawn And North Western Hospital In Down Town . I Was Born In North Western And I've been Treated In Loyola & In Christ They Are The Best.

Thankfully, I have insurance, so no I would not go there for treatment. Unfortunately poor people without insurance have no choice so they have to put up with the poor treatment.

Not even if I was dieing. It's the old Cook County hospital. Not the best of area's. Try something different.
