Seems as if Liberals want to love everything even when its not warranted, while conservatives are practitioners of "tough" love. Maybe we need to teach each other the different ways of love.

Sounds right to me! Liberals are the "mommies", conservatives are the "daddies"! I'm editing...Mr. Bill is right! That's not love!

CONSERVATISM: "A political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change."*

LIBERALISM; "A political philosophy based on belief in progress, the essential goodness of man and the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties."*

Seems to me there's a little bit of BOTH philosophies in all of us. I don't know a liberal that doesn't want social stability, nor do I know a conservative that doesn't believe in progress. Maybe we should all pool our resources, and invest our time and energies into fighting the real enemies:
a) The corrupt two-party political monopoly that has stagnated our electoral process, poisoned our political system and restricted voters' choice of candidates;
b) The political propagandists such as Al Franken and Rush Limbaugh who brainwash us into attaching artificial labels to ourselves without really understanding the true definitions of those labels;
c) The corrupted three branches of government that no long serve as a system of checks-and-balances as our forefathers intended, but instead operate in collusion with each other to protect the bureaucracies rather than serve the people.

If we Americans truly "love" this country, it's time for us to get off the sofa, put down the remote and start the revolt.

Thomas Jefferson once said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." If we don't want our great-grandchildren living under a tyrannical and oppressive dictatorship, we'd best get off our butts and do something about it now! -RKO- 12/09/07

Thats incredibly a bright mind's eye you have. the place are you getting your info from ? because of the fact some thing is extremely incorrect. definitely, what proportion roles did Obama create ? None that i understand of. He did provide billions of greenbacks to special companies so as that they might squader the money on fancy workplace decor worth $2,000,000 and deliver their government team on fancy 5 famous guy or woman inn vactions ( my source is the professional liberal media ). Even they couldnt make up a narrative like that ! yet returned to the ultimate subject. In all my years as an person, for the period of the presidencies of Bush senior, Clinton, G. W. Bush and, nobel prize winner Obama, I even have by no skill, ever heard them propose they close down the very government, that sooo many human beings anticipate because of the fact there became no longer adequate money to conceal the debt of this united states of america and shop it working. Our economic equipment is now very almost as undesirable because it became for the period of the melancholy interior the Nineteen 1920s and 30s ! many people who thought this variation became such a competent thought have become disillusioned with this president who hasnt completed a element for me, or all people else i understand ! yet human beings think of the republicans are so undesirable. They declare the republicans blame the democrats whilst some thing is going incorrect. which would be genuine in lots of circumstances, inspite of the undeniable fact that it style of feels to me like the democrats have extra journey and extra ammo ( like the professional liberal deceptive media ) whilst it includes the blame pastime. additionally, i think of republicans are a splash extra rational and mature whilst it includes making alternatives that consequence EVERYONES lives. Conservatives 'love' conditionally.

Cross their line and you'll be cut off.

Liberals always think there's room to improve from mistakes made.

Jesus had your agenda covered, dear.

I would, however, say that Conservatives don't have compassion and Liberals do.

liberals believe people should have the freedom to love whatever they want

conservatives believe that "tough love" should work for all people who are poor. while providing "free passes" to those they deem necessary!!!
