its not that your mom doesn't trust you...she doesn't trust society. pedifiles wait at the mall for young girls like you. your mom know's whats best for you and you should respect her decision. you want her to trust you but then you go and act like a little girl about it. in order to get what you want you have to be mature and go about things maturily. that note you wrote wont help it will just get her mad and more upset. trust me i've been in this situation before and the more i begged the more i got in deeper.

Hi, we've all been 14, and there are a lot of 14 year olds out there all over the world, so we all know what you're saying .However, today's society has made it very difficult for parents to allow their kids the freedom they deserve !
I am speaking to you as a mother, I have two boys, slightly younger than you, and I am terrified to let them go anywhere on their own.
It really doesn't sound like a big deal going to the mall does it? It shouldn't be, but perhaps your mother has heard about something that has happened in the mall , or maybe she's not sure about your friends, whether they are mature or responsible ( you say they are, but your mum might not think so) .
Invite your friends over, let your mum get to know them properly, and if you all show her that you can be trusted to do the right thing in any situation then I'm sure she will allow you more freedom.
Please don't dislike your mum, she really must have her reasons, she's not doing this to hurt you, trust me on this . She loves you and wants whats best for you, it may not feel like that now, but you will understand one day . My mum was the same, and now I know why she behaved like that.
Don't be mad, ask your mum to go to the mall with you and your friends instead . Once you're all there, she may let you all walk around on your own for an hour or so .
She feels bad about it too, I'm sure.

You and your mom need to sit down and talk, maybe not right now cause she is mad at you. I am sure she has some valid reasons for which she doesn't want you to go and if you know what they are you might feel the same.Maybe she is unnerved with the recent mall shootings and stories of weirdos hanging at malls.
I am sure she will let you to the mall with your friends if you have a normal conversation with her instead of fighting with her.

listen to your mom, trying to convince her to let you go will just make her angry. do some studying for school.
