I play Santa every year (for the last 4 years, anyway) a the kid's Christmas party here I work. I was "Lucky" to get the gig as they pay me to come down the stairs, hand out some presents and leave. It only takes about 20-30 minutes.
Maybe this year, I'll ask them if I can take the Santa suit home and stop at a couple clubs... Everybody loves Santa, don't they?
Visions of Santa's helper dancing in my head.....
Is that what you mean by "Gettin' Lucky" ?

Last year I went to Washington to work on the Hurricane Recovery Program for American Red Cross, I was able to send people additionaly funding at Christmas time to help them with their recovery after Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.(unmet, long term needs)
They couldn't see me, but I felt this was a great thing. I felt happy and rewarded and had wonderful luck afterwards.

yes and i will never do it again == one year my sister asked me to go with her in her churchs bus to drop off gifts to the poor kids -- any way i get all decked out and against my better judgment off we go -- there was quite a bit of snow on the ground and about half way through the route i tell her she is cutting it to short and going to end up in the ditch any way i was right and we are stuck in the ditch and here i have to go stomping off into the night -- while walking i was also talking (yes i can to that) cussing out loud at the top of my voice -- i still have people remind me of the cussing santa!!!
