I want to give a cd to my fave teacher for Christmas. I know that they like Bruce Springsteen, so I'm going to make a mix cd. I'm going to include Bruce Springsteen songs.

Do you think that this is too personal? They would better use out of this as opposed to a candle or a box of chocolates.

Also, if any Bruce Springsteen fans are reading this, what other artists have a similar style to his?

Many thanks!

sound like a great idea. teachers get to many coffee mugs and candles.
try john cafferty and the beaver brown band. he sounds alot like springsteen in his younger days. they did the soundtrack for eddie and the cruisers.

I don't think it's too personal. You could include Bruce Springsteen's holiday songs - Santa Claus is Coming To Town and Merry Christmas Baby - both are available on iTunes.

Your teacher may also be into The Eagles, U2, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Wilco or Arcade Fire. The Eagles "Please Come Home For Christmas" and U2's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) would be good choices also.
