I don't know. You should elaborate a bit more. I personally prefer to do ballet and ice-skating as recreational only. I could never really get used to skating that well and ice-skating is so expensive. Ballet can still be expensive (costumes, tights, pointe shoes, leg warmers, leotards, scrunchies, etc) but I always found ice-skating more so..plus I have more ballet experience than ice-skating.

My suggestion is you write a pros and cons list of each and then go from there.

My advice to you is that both are the same except one is on ice but the same moves are done so you should choose for yourself. Ballet was always my dream. It strengthens your legs and body and gives the same kind of workout as ice skating and you may need the ballet to do ice skating so I am hoping that I am showing my bias for ballet.

both r excellent sports but ballet requires more balance and discipline. ice skating sounds more fun.
