I think it's perfectly fine to carry one around. It shows a sense of responsibility.
And it's not as if you are flashing it around. You have it concealed in your purse. So, presumably, the only other person who might see it is the person you would use it on.
No worries. It's better to be safe than sorry. ... The only people who would call you a name for doing that are probably just the jealous people who aren't getting any. ;-)

Who is digging through her purse to make the determination on whether she is an easy lay? That guy would be someone NOT to sleep with.
If I was with a girl and things turned to sex, I would be real glad she had condoms!

Well if you are already about to have sex. I don't think having a condom speaks as loudly as the fact that you are about to have sex does. Does it make you look like an easy lay? No. Being on your back at the moment does though.

Of course carrying a condom is responsible! Birth control isn't the only important fact- condoms are a "must'. If you are going out (or staying in) and there is a possibility it may lead to sex, you are 100% correct to have that condom...There is an epidemic out there called AIDS and sexually transmitted disease rates are higher and higher! It doesn't say "easy lay" it says that you are assuring that your body is safe! Who else is going to do it? Good for you. Kudos!

i think it shows that a woman cares enough about herself to protect herself. You should never assume that the guy will have one with him. I think that if you feel you are ready for sex and love the guy, you should keep one on your purse. Just keep it discreet. You don't want to advertise it or keep it where someone will see it. Also it is safer to use a condom that is kept in a purse than to use one that has been kept in a wallet because wallet condoms can deteriorate from body heat and the wear and tear of sitting on it all day everyday. Be responsible, protect yourself, because it's your life, keep your future safe.

Theres only one reason to carry a condom in one' purse. And that's because you're entertaining the idea of casual sex. A one night stand.
I am happy to say that in my 38 years I have never felt compelled to go out seeking sex. If it's outside a loving relationship, it isn't for me.
I'm a little old fashioned but have never had to worry about STDs or my self esteem.

I do sometimes. A woman is just as responsible for protection. Make the guy come up with the protection but use yours as a back up just in case you just have to have it and he has nothing. And P.S. don't tell anyone you have a condom.

People usually carry things with them that they think they might likely need in the course of their normal day-to-day routines while they are out and about....checkbook, credit cards, cash, driver's license, cosmetics, medicine, hair brush. I suppose if sexual intercourse is part of a person's day-to-day activity when they are out, it would be good to have a condom, or two, or three, readily available. Be a real shame to have to pass on getting laid for lack of protection.

from experience.
when a girl has condoms in her purse. shes expecting/hoping some sexual activity at some point when she went out.
weather meeting a buddy/boyfriend or your at a club, your looking for a hookup.
most girls ive had random hookups with at a club, already are packing condoms.
but i also carry 1 too.
lol i just check her brand and make sure its as good as mine.
