In Ohio we actually have an organization that investigates any reports of abuse of the elderly and will remove them from the home and place them in a safe environment just like with children. I think there is more abuse of the elderly than anyone knows because many of them do not get out of the house so how would anyone know if someone is taking their money or physically harming them.

I don't know what it's called, but I think there is a special place in Hell for those who do it!!! My dad has a heart of gold, and people always hit him up for money (large amounts!). He has so very little, but he's so generous. The police in our small town found out about a woman who was taking advantage of him, and called me. They also warned her to leave him alone or face some serious consequences. We have to look out for our older folks as we do our children.

Elder abuse; it happened to my dad.
His caregiver was using his credit card for personal shopping and gas. Even though I reported it to the police and had a social worker on the case, nothing was done. They never even followed up on any of my calls. I just have to be extra-careful in monitoring his care. No, I'm not through with the authorities, either.
Anyone who would do this is truly evil.

i assume it might desire to take place, however the banks that I even have dealt with would not take earnings of the elderly, a minimum of to my understanding. perhaps the elderly might desire to take a specified buddy or kin member they have confidence alongside with them while managing issues they don't comprehend thoroughly. be recommended and recognize what is going on. it is the main suitable i will recommend.
