I used to run around the playground circa 1986 - 87 pretending I was either Han Solo or Luke Skywalker shooting at the Scout Walkers and yelling things like "Hang on kid, we'll defeat the Empire this time."

there used to be this big and really old wooden playset on our playground (recently replaced with some "safer" plastic shiet) that had a bridge that was connected with chains that would make a loud rattling noise when we jumped on it, that was everyones favorite, to jump up and down on it. When I was little, that playset seemed huge to us and we used to play castle on it. Everyone had their names carved into that ol' wooden castle and I can't believe it's gone now, their getting rid of all my memories and the good stuff mannn!

At my elementary school in third and fourth grade, me and my friends pretended that the playground was all made of sweets and candy, and that if we ate something on the playground it would grow back. We called it "Candyland". :] lmao.

I loved to swing, jump rope, slide, and mostly play hand games like "See, See My Play Mate", "Ronald McDonald", and "Concentration", and "Space Ghost".

The spinny thing that you go round and round and round and round on until you're so dizzy you fall down when you finally get off....
