The easiest way to solve this problem is to graph both lines and see where they intersect. The people above me all got x=4 by guessing an checking, but there is another answer too. Plot 2^x and 4x on your calculator and you'll see that they intersect at x=4 and x=0.3099

By trial and error x = 4 as 2^4 is 16 and 4 x 4 = 16
