If a person is not old enough to drink then they should also be considered CHILDREN when it comes to being "conned" into the forces. No CHILD should be allowed to join the army airforce or marines. they are considered children until they come of age.... 21. So listen up, Mr Bush, please have the legal age of consent raised to 21 for ALL activities and keep our children safe. There's the ONE good thing you Could do for this nation before you give up the throne.
Save the children, there are thousands of MEN out there who are over 40 and yet willing to die for their country and would willingly re join the forces if you'd let them, without taking 18 year old children and putting a gun in their hands.

the drinking age should be 18 and any age in private.
I drink alcohol once in a while and I am 17 1/2
18 year olds are not children anymore regardless what your opinion is they are adults and I am one too just not a full one yet for 5 more months then I can enjoy more rights.

21 is a stupid excuse of an age you are not solving any problems by raising the age of adulthood you only lengthen the age of childhood and cause more problems to pile up.
Do you really thing age restrictions stop someone underage from doing it?
Hell no because I know many guys who are 18-20 who drink alcohol and dont give a rats behind what the law says.

If you are active duty military you should be able to drink at 18. For everyone else the drinking age should stay 21.

We can vote at 18. We are considered legal at 18. I think that we should be able to drink at 18.
And yes, it is sad all the men AND women being injured and dying. BUT they do sign up for the military, not drafted. I think that it is a honor to be able to serve our country and appreciate all those who willingly put America first.

This is an old issue which was once changed and then changed back. Individuals have proven their abilities in combat but do not act responsibly with regards to liquor intake.

Be careful what you ask for. If this was passed (which will never happen) then the driving age would also be changed to 21.
