Your best isn't enough?

I always think that , i always think that i suppose to able to do more for a friend but he lives far away , so i try my best to show i care..but i feel that is not enough.

Sometimes, yes. I think it's up to yourself to feel like you did well. If you gave your honest,absolute best, there is no reason you should feel like it isn't enough. What else can you give besides that?

Yes, sometimes I frustrate myself with imagining how my best could have been better if the situation was slightly modified. . Topping ourselves is a good practice, I think.

I've mellowed a bit. If you're down and out, but don't think much of the change I've offered is good enough, I'll just keep it.

I don't just think it...I know my best is not always enough...that's why we need help from one another and from God...to increase the "best" meter to it's full potential

It might be that my best isn't enough for a situation.
In such case, I back off, I know I can't do anything more and... no hard feelings.

I give my best all the time!
There may be times when it is not good enough, but I can not worry about that.
I can only do my best - if it is not good enough - I apologize!!!

Yeah. But a person can only do so much. I think as long as you try your hardest and give it your all, then that's all that matters.
