But I am creative, enthusiastic and energetic when I work. No one can stop it even myself. Why is this?

Put together a To Do list for yourself and start to get small tasks done. You will feel productive when you are able to cross tasks out after you get them done.

If your profession is to research, then you may as well skip this answer. But you don't seem like that.

So you are under-worked, or you feel bored to work beyond the usual hours.Let me try to do justice to your creativity and energy.

The fact that you use the net is a good start. Try to develop the hobby of researching and collating the data - and give yourself a week's time to make a report! Yes, let's say your topic for this week is "The healing effects of Turmeric". Now find any and all data and categorize these into sections and create a report. Make it in a way so that you enjoy reading it later. No need to show it to anyone else - it is for yourself. (You may like to include the source URLs in the report... just in case you want to share your work in a public domain later).

Any topic that interests you can be a starter. Soon you'll end up not only feeling like an authority on various topics but may also end up discovering what "really-really" interests you! Good luck!

I know what you mean. I used to have the same problem. I finally decided that I owed it to my mother and the people who came before me to make something of myself. I also prayed about it.

Try breaking the things you want to do down into small short term goals. Take a martial art as well. They help to instill discipline. My instructors would make me confess this over myself everyday:

My work is a reflection of myself. My execution of martial art techniques is also a reflection of myself. In whatever productive work I do I will create a masterpiece it will reflect my genius and virtuosity. In all things I will work most seriously, intelligently, and wholeheartedly. I will commit my soul, my body and spirit, and even my whole life's fortune. I am a winner, a genius, and a virtuoso.

I said this so much that it went into my subconscious and it helped me to become a far more productive person.

Pray and try find out what God wants you to do with your life. Find out what your passion is and aim for that! Hope this helps! You can do it!

I think you need to find something outside of work where you can put all that creative and enthusiastic energy to work. You just need to find a hobby, something that gets you excited and inspires you to get up and move. I find going for a walk early in the morning and getting some fresh air helps get me going during the day. And if none of that ever works, you can always start drinking lots of coffee!

mahatma gandhi had said that failure is not the only punishment for laziness, there is also the sucess of others.
u will never suceed if u get along with laziness.
if u r late rise try to be an early bird.then mind will be calm...
u will be more energetic and will get more time to work and also to relax.
try to develop some good hobbies so that u won't be lazy at all in your life.....
there is only one life..enjoy it thoroughly....be with your friends...go for trips...sametime do u'r work...
be deterministic then no doubt your laziness will fade away...

Make an excercise plan.At least 30mins of cardio each day. After excercising youl feel refreshed and ready to start your day, instead of lying in bed the whole day.The best thing to do is buy a stepper or a treadmill(if you have money) so that you can excercise at home. The biggest problem is getting motivated.

Could you be mistaking bouts of laziness for bouts of depression?

Depression will bring on low energy levels, and a lack of interest in doing anything regardless of how important it is. It's also an extremely common problem.

do you feel like its too much to even move? why bother? stop taking showers or leaving the house, just stay in bed or sit in front of the tv watching whatever's on?

Could be depression.
Ask your doctor or make an appointment with a psychiatrist and discuss it.

Make some good friends, visit to their homes, sit to have chat with them and try to move with them. Loneliness is a sickness which brings depression and wayward thoughts, avoid it as long u can. This is the only solution to your problem.

Sounds like depression, or bi-polar symptoms to me. The first treatment without drugs is ironically to get out and do some heavy exercise.
