I really do not like cold weather. I understand it's a necessity for certain plants to thrive, but my first urge is to hibernate until it's warm again.
According to the weather station on my computer, the Mid-Atlantic region is hovering around 48 degrees Fahrenheit for now, and the big light in the sky has now put in a half-hearted appearance.

Oh yes, thunder snow. Just the thought of it scares the crap out of me. About 10 years ago we had a storm like this in Missouri in October. The tree's still have leaves on them, but it got cold enough for the rain to turn to snow and the weight of the snow and sleet broke tree limbs which fell on power lines and we were without power for about a week. Actually storms like this often produce a LOT of snow - sorry for the bad news. I'm in Missouri so at least I am used to this kind of weather.

Well it is 35 now but it is supposed to get up to around 57 this afternoon here in Sacramento. Not too cold but the wind is biting and makes it colder for me. These old bones ache whenever the weather is too cold. So I try to stay inside much of the day. I do remember the days when feeding the horses was a chore, but not as much as feeding the buffalo or brama bulls we also raised on the ranch. Still watch what you're doing and stay warm.

I doesn't look like it's going to get to 60 today, so I guess I'll stay inside and do some Christmas baking.
J/K .... I'll probably be out at the BBQ this afternoon. Sorry about all the cold weather the rest of you are having but I moved here because I grew up in cold weather and made the decision 34 years ago that I didn't want any more.
I know, I'm a wuss.... can't take the cold weather.... I'm a quitter.... Did I mention the BBQ I;m doing today? :+))

Well somebody has to live there. I just love talking to my daughter in Wisconsin about the snow and temps and rubbing in how we are getting int 70's and 80's with lows in the 50's. Do take care out there Indiansquaw. While i watch football on sunday afternoon I'm wondering if the high temps bother the players from up north...ya reckon?
Not rubbing it in but we leave the windows open and when it gets too warm we close them and use the air. I know it sucks doesn't it?

Southern New Jersey is enjoying a small respite from the nasty, cold weather of last week. About 48 degrees, grey and cloudy sky, light cold wind - gonna rain tonight.
Temps dropping to high 20's-low 30's for daytime next week.. It's ok as long as that darned wind doesn't blow....BRRRRR!!!!

It's 36 degrees here in the DC area and about to rain and
sleet. I better get to the grocery store before it does.
It's supposed to warm up to the 50's later in the week. I feel
sorry for my daughter in Wisconsin who has to drive here for
Christmas with her baby and a dog. Hope she has good
weather.
Take care all of you out there where the weather is really
cold.

Right now, it's 52 F, with an expected high of 57, and rain about to start any minute.
Yesterday it got up to 80 F, and I had to turn on the AC.
Take care you don't slip and break a limb when you feed those horses!

Yesterday it was sunny, breezy and 85. We put up the Christmas lights.
Today it's overcast, humid, 74 degrees. Supposed to have thunderstorms later. Great day to watch NFL!
