Now that pickups and some cars have mostly illegal exhausts, do you feel that you are living inside of a racetrack?

I realize that there will always be traffic and that noise doesn't bother me but now all I hear are loud exhausts everywhere. There is NO peace anymore. Any thoughts?

We don't actually have a racetrack here. I'm talking about in the town itself. And I hope never to have to go to Miami. We have alot of people running redlights and the boom cars....that's just too much. No one cares anymore. No wonder there's so much road rage.

i suggest go stay in Miami for a few weeks, once you go home it will seem quiet! besides exhaust, they love to honk their horns down there, constantly, at people they know, when a light turns green (even if cars in front of them are moving, lol) add to that their lack of use of turn signals (even the police dont use them) their refusal to stop at intersections for emergency vehicles, and the speeding they do, plus its nothing to see 10 or more cars still going threw the light after it turns red (meanwhile all those behind you are honking for you to go, i guess right threw the cars!), if you survive Miami, i think your hometown will seem quiet and sane
(yes, i was recently there working for 5 weeks, it was hell driving, my co-worker (who is a very meek , mellow, mild person , ended up on the horn, her head out the window, screaming and cursing when she had to drive)
