Hi, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. We will pray for his family and friends. My brother is in the Marines, and though he hasn't been deployed yet, it still brings a sort of personal view to all the deaths of our American boys over there. (like, "that could be ...[sister,brother,dad, etc]") I can't wait until this is resolved... though no one knows when that will be, I pray it is soon.
p.s. - didn't go today to services because it snowed/rained all night and we were told not to risk it (we live 30 minutes away from church) because the roads were all icy and frozen. Otherwise I definitely would have been there! :)

Yes my dear, I will surely remember John's family and friends in My Prayers. My heart goes Out to them. I will ask God to comfort this family and favor them With His Love and compassion. I am asking God to Help them recogize That He is Present in their Life and Cares Very much about their Sorrows. May they sence His Loving Hand On them as they go about doing their Daily Tasks. May they be Drawn closer to Him as He Soothes their Pain. May they know He Loves them Unconditionally, He is their Restorer, Helper and Strength. I thank You Jesus, that you are with this Precious Family, and You are everything they Need. I am sick in bed but I will say a special prayer for him and his famialy. He is a big part of all of our famialies and only wish I could have met the hero. You and they have my condolences
