Hilary Clinton. I do believe that she would be the ruin of our country. I also do not think that she is qualified, for the simple reason that she states that her qualifications are all related to being married to a president. Think about it. If your spouse was a surgeon, does that make you qualified to perform open heart surgery? I also do not like the way her opinions and stances on important issues shift with what is popular at the moment. Look at her health care plans. First it was a plan to help EVERYONE, until the polls showed that America only wanted to help the poor. Then it was a plan to help only the poor, until the polls started to shift towards America not wanting socialized health care. Then it was only an idea that she was kicking around, and never a plan in the first place. She has no character, and is never held accountable for her actions, or statements.

Unfortunately, I can't pick just one, but I would like to see each party trimmed down to the top four candidates. I suppose that would be Clinton, Obama, Edwards, and either Biden or Richardson for the Democratic party. On the other side, I think that would leave Giuliani, Romney, Huckabee, and McCain (Thompson seems to be fading).

In my mind, that would make things a whole lot simpler and easier to digest, and would make any polls that much more accurate.

Hillary Clinton

My answer is a "bit" Machiavellian:

First, I want it to be a Republican, because whichever party's field of candidates gets trimmed, the stronger they will become, and I lean Republican, so I want to see that field of candidates strengthened.

It's like when a person prunes a tree or cuts back a rose bush: you do it because too many branches and limbs means that they are each weaker than if there were fewer, bigger ones.

I'd like to see Ron Paul give an endorsement to one of the other candidates (Fred Thompson, maybe) and direct his internet base to rally their support around that person.

If he did that tomorrow, whoever he chooses would likely grab a strong lead in the Republican field, and be much more likely to have the ability to Beat Hilla-Bomma!

Guiliani. I don't know why the media and apparently some people across the country like him. He's despised in NYC and NY state. He's "such a 911 hero" yet firefighters despise him. He's a social liberal, so he doesn't even appeal to the Republican base. Why is he running and who are these people who support him??! BTW, he was knighted by the Queen of England which disqualifies him to run for president. Everyone overlooks that little LAW.

yet another 'question' that proves that a individual can logically shield even the main illogical thesis. In a rustic that hasn't considered any real 'leftists', much less 'Marxists' with the aid of fact the 1930's, railing by contrast phantom is like mounting a controversy against the Klingon Empire. Touting 'journey' with the aid of fact the only standards for a president leaves out the climate of organic capacity, training, mind, an innate capacity to form wheat from chaff, decency, rigidity, honesty, duty, a feeling of honor, humility and that rigidity of character that enables mere mortals to upward thrust above themselves...to surely understand real from incorrect, solid from undesirable, priceless from valueless and to hearken to the advice of their 'greater effectual angels'. I somewhat cherished the commentary proper to the 'hate whitey' church. One might ought to anticipate that Sen. Obama grow to be prompted with the aid of making use of a single sermon. As Sen. Obama sat by seven State of the Union speeches by making use of George Bush, one ought to anticipate that Sen. Obama grow to be prompted to commence as many ineffective wars as attainable making use of borrowed money. After the 1st various State of the Union speeches you will think of he may well be for reducing taxes for companies that export american jobs, decontrol each little thing in sight and recommend the rantings of the GOP's sturdy of real wing communicate show buzzards. enable's see......the excellent wing ranters improve 3 human beings in Sen. Obma's existence...Ayes, Wright, Resco.....yet trouble-free sense tells us that this guy has been prompted by making use of hundreds of human beings...Lincoln....Jefferson and Teddy Roosevelt between them. i do no longer understand approximately you men, yet this guy appears like the bettter determination for the u.s. salary-earner. previous guy McCain with all his 'expericance' and unfashionable politics is a robust determination for the political trash heap. See 'ya on the polls!

First, I agree with dinodino that "elimination" sounds a bit too Orwellian for democratic elections. That being said, I'm all for disqualifying Mitt Romney. He's a souless reptile, and I'd prefer a "humans-only" race in November.

I don't think anyone should be "eliminated" from the race. I prefer to let the voters decide.
